Another Blast In Lancaster…

I had such a blast  holding In Call in Lancaster with Rachel. I swear every time she and I get together we have so much fun. This time was no different.

We met with current Friends and made a few new Friends. We enjoyed playing in the jacuzzi and the shower with our Friends and each other. We spent some time with a Friend playing pool, going out to dinner and just hanging out. Thank you for showing us such a good time !! And for fixing Rachel’s laptop.

After 3 years of not drinking I came up with the idea to run to a bar for a 6 pack. We ended up with two What can I say, a few drinks and the fun began. We jumped in the jacuzzi and decided to turn on the web cam. Now that was a blast !! For those of you who watched us you know what I mean. Yes, my toy is still outside. I wasn’t about to get out of the jacuzzi to go get it. They really need to put screens in those windows.

Of course we took some time for shopping. One can never have to many clothes I need to clean out my closet to make room for all my new clothes. Looks like I will be making a trip to Goodwill here soon.

We look forward to staying there again in the near future. This time we will not have Management visit to tell us to keep it down, lol. Opps, see what happens when we take the night off for ourselves……we go and get into trouble. I blame Rachel

Graduation Party…

I have been having so much fun planning my Daughter’s High School Graduation party. I have gotten all the decorations which are just adorable. I have rented an air conditioned Lodge at our local park. A good friend of mine is a DJ and he has agreed to DJ for us.

Tonight my Daughter and I will be writing out the invites and getting them in the mail tomorrow. The more I have completed the more excited I become.

I am thinking of just making the food simple. Like potato salad, macaroni salad, chips, veggie trays, fruit trays, deli trays and drinks.

I do need to order a cake yet. Guess I should find out what kind my Daughter would like.

The park is having an issue with my wanting a Dunk Tank but I haven’t given up on that just yet. I would love to put all the Grads in there and have a good laugh. A special someone told me who manages the park and to call and speak with him in hopes of convincing them to allow it. To you…thank you for your help

Last night I sat online forever playing around on ebay. I did bid on a few things for the party. I have won two so far and hope to win the others without filing bankruptcy, lol.

We will be video taping it all for her. I will run our video camera and a few family members will be as well with their’s. Afterwards we will be combining the videos. UTube here we come, lol.

All in all everything is pulling together very well. July 26th will be a wonderful day !!

I am no longer having issues with her growing up. I am rather enjoying it to be honest. I will always be her Mom first but now I get to be more friend than anything.

Did I mention how proud of her I am ?? She has gotten Honor Roll every report card since 9th grade, kept the same job for 2 years and same boyfriend for over 2 years, dealt with her hypothyroidism and still managed to pull off perfect grades. That’s my Girl

I would like to send out a huge Thank You to everyone who took the time to visit with Rachel_R and myself during her visits to Lancaster. We really appreciate your choosing us to share your time with. We had such wonderful experiences with you all and look forward to hosting again at the end of the month.

Rachel_R has visited me 3 times now and each visit has been wonderful. Not only did we enjoy meeting with current Friends and new Friends but we enjoyed hanging out with each other. During her visits we have gone to our favorite diner (Jenny’s) late at night, colored her hair, ran to wal mart at all hours, took a drive to the Adult Book Store and sat up all night yakking away. We even had a period of free time to run to Circuit City for Rachel to buy a new camera and for me to buy a new Blackberry, yes I finally got the Blackberry Pearl……the pink one I have wanted.

The only downfall of Rachel and I hanging out would be the fact we do not sleep, lol. We will be going to bed earlier from now on, won’t we Rachel ? We have learned 4:00 am comes really fast when you don’t get to sleep until late, lol.
